Level 4 and Level 5 AQA Counselling Courses
AAAIB Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Practice will be offering the level 4 and the level 5 Higher Diploma in 2011.
Level 4 Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy begins January 2011, Level 5 Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy Begins JUne 2011 (This is a 3rd year entry degree level with the University of Nottingham)
All training is based at the AAAIB St Austell Training Centre All courses are integrative with CBT as the core model for the level 4 Diploma Models and theorists explored in both Diploma courses are: CBT (cognitive Behavioural Therapy) Psychodynamic Theory, Humanistic, Existential, Person Centered and Transactional Analysis.
All Counselling Courses are accredited by AQA JCQ QCA and follow the BACP Ethical Framework for good practice.
Following the new legislation from the QCF, AQA, JCQ and QCA on 10th September 2010 It has been agreed and it is now required that all Counsellors and Psychotherapists in training after January 2011 should be trained and qualified to a level 4 Diploma and demonstrate their fitness to practice before working with clients.
We will continue to run our level 2,and 3 Counselling courses throughout 2011.
